Biography....
"I started performing at about the age of 12 but it was never something I had envisaged doing for a living! I was involved in various school productions for a few years then made the big step to amateur dramatics.
It was doing “42nd Street” with a local theatre group that inspired me to start tap dancing at the Karen Clarke Theatre School in Woking – my home town - which in turn lead to modern dance, jazz and singing.
I was also a member of Surrey County Youth Theatre and Choir, and I was lucky enough to perform at many prestigious venues including, Royal Albert Hall, The Lowry Centre (Manchester), The Barbican, and even outside the statue of liberty, NY! But it was only when I was forced to decide on either university or drama school that I finally realised the choice was an easy one!
I have just graduated with BA Hons from the prestigious Arts Educational Schools London where I was awarded the Harmer-Smith award for best all round performer.
I wish to thank all those who have supported me thus far. Most of all my family.
Spamalot!
I am currently appearing in Monty Python's Spamalot at the Palace Theatre in
London's West End; i've already learnt so much and am having a great time,
it's just very, very silly!
On Broadway in 2005 it won the Tony Award for Best Musical and here it won
two "Whatsonstage" awards. Simon Russell Beale is currently appearing as
King Arthur.
To be continued…..!
